Vectronom Gamescom Booth

For this Gamescom we built a colorful booth with lights, props and a speedrunning station.

Juan built acrylic lettering and wired up that and a prop he had made for a trailer shoot with RGB LED strips. I threw together a (shoddy) stripboard 12V LED driver board with MosFETs bought off a eBay-Kleinanzeigen Person the evening of the day before setup and made the game send out the active background color via a serial link:

I also developed a React speedrunning scoreboard with daily and all-time rankings. The scoreboard could be switched into various modes and also showed posts from social media.

I also designed these PCB Keychains that we had made in two colors. We sold some of these with a sticker with a redeemable key for the game on the bottom snap-off part. I still carry mine seven years later!
